Description

The ideal candidate will be working fluent in English and Spanish and be able to work remotely in both countries. The job is for a remote working architect to collaborate with me as the director/owner to deliver small, high quality residential projects. Monthly site visits to the UK will be required. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Part 2 or newly qualified architect who is ideally able to use or learn quickly Vectorworks, Sketchup or similar 3d software. You should be visually astute- care about design- be prepared to take ownership of a task- self-motivated and good at communicating. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all stages from concept to completion. This candidate should also be able design according to the UK building regulations. You should be fluent in English. The long term ambition would be to form a partnership if the collaboration works for both.

Responsibilities

• All Stages 0-6 Concept to Completion
• Particular responsibilities to design and CAD well organised packages of information at each stage
• Some site attendance
• 25-30 hours per week time initially
• Flexible Working Hours

Qualifications

• BA degree in architecture
• Part 2 qualification minimum
• 3+ years of work experience
• Strong organisational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in Vectoworks or be prepared to learn
• Revit to be discussed

Salary

• Negotiable Terms: With an annual income of £36K or €36K dependent on circumstances.
• Travel to South East UK sites monthly is required at cost.
• Year end bonus
• Monthly job reviews.
• 48 working weeks per year amounts to £30 per hour for 25 hours.
