Job Overview:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and competitive estimates for fit-out projects. You will work closely with project managers, senior leadership, and clients, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and expanding team with exposure to large-scale projects across London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects, including material, labour, and overhead costs
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and scope
• Evaluate and assess bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing
• Analyse historical data and industry trends to develop accurate cost forecasts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Assist in tender submissions and prepare detailed reports and documentation for senior management
• Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to ensure alignment with budget
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the fit-out, construction, or related industries
• Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques, project budgeting, and contract management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• High proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• A degree or relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential
