Demo / New Build - 1-year contract - ASAP start - Tier one contractor

Your new company
A well known Tier One contractor who require a Site Manager to work on a £30m demo with a lot of asbestos to be cleared out during the demo phase, with a new office block to be built following the demo.

Your new role
As a Site Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites.
  
• Enforce safety protocols, manage risks, and address any issues promptly.
  
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to keep the project on track.
  
• Maintain quality standards by monitoring workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications.
  
• When challenges arise, you will find solutions to keep the project moving forward.
  
• Effectively communicate by liaising with team members, report progress, and address concerns.
  
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• You must have recently worked for a Tier One contractor
  
• Recent experience working on a demo site is essential
  
• You must have an in-depth understanding of the removal of asbestos
  
• SMSTS, First Aid & either a gold/black CSCS card
  

What you'll get in return

• £300 - £350 per day (PAYE rates slightly less)
  
• 5 days per week
  
• 1-year contract duration
  
• ASAP Start
