The Job

As a Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of major projects, ensuring compliance with financial, contractual, safety, quality, and environmental standards. You will manage all aspects of project planning, stakeholder relationships, and team leadership to achieve outstanding results.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring all financial, safety, and quality targets are met.
  • Develop and implement contract plans, safety strategies, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Plan, programme, and allocate resources to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors.
  • Promote innovation and value engineering to enhance project efficiency.
  • Lead and support site teams, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation.
  • Ensure full compliance with company SHEQ policies and contribute to health and safety initiatives.
  • Support sustainability and social value objectives.


About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in asset maintenance, structural refurbishment, or construction. With excellent leadership and organisational skills, you can manage multiple project demands while ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards. Your ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement will be key to your success.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Project Manager role within construction, civil engineering, or structural refurbishment.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support teams to achieve project success.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
