Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of related projects, ensuring successful execution while meeting business objectives. As the primary customer contact, you will drive project performance, manage risks, and deliver on schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring strong relationships and successful project delivery.
• Manage multiple related projects, aligning customer requirements with business goals.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, implementing corrective actions when needed and regularly reporting on the project status to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate and secure necessary resources to meet project requirements, including personnel, tools, and facilities.
• Provide accurate cost and schedule data which can be used for bids and reports.
• Lead and motivate teams to support in fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Support new product implementation and development initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• APM or equivalent project management qualification would be desirable.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and delegation skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness with a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
• Resilient under pressure with sound decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems (e.g., IFS).
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project management, ideally within the Defence sector.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas.
