New urgent role working with a major UK residential developer as a Site Manager to oversee external roofing packages on a new build residential development.

Applicants must have experience working on volume build RC frame residential developments and ideally come from a carpentry trade background

This role will interview/start asap.

Duties:

• Leading the roofing package execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient construction process.
• Managing budgets, schedules, and resources, delivering on time and within budget while maintaining high quality.
• Overseeing roofing contractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring adherence to specifications and quality control.
• Ensuring strict adherence to building regulations and safety procedures, creating a safe work environment.
• Proactively managing risks, implementing solutions to minimise delays and ensure project success.
• Reporting project progress and key decisions, ensuring transparency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Site Manager on new-build residential projects, particularly with roofing packages.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid tickets
• Strong understanding of construction processes, technical specifications, and building regulations relevant to roofing.
• A strong background in carpentry, ideally with experience in roof construction.
• Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
