Are you a Resident Engineer/Site Manager looking for your Next assignment. My client is looking to recruit a Resident Engineer/Site Manager to oversee the civil construction of a large-scale solar project in Swindon. This roles involve managing on-site activities, ensuring construction meets high-quality standards, and keeping everything on track in terms of budget, safety, and project timelines.

Role Overview:

• Lead on-site civil works, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to design specifications.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors, driving project progress and resolving site challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Oversee materials procurement, ensuring specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including reports, schedules, and compliance records.
• Act as the key point of contact between project managers, stakeholders, and site teams.
• Provide technical expertise and ensure all work aligns with construction guidelines.

Ideal Candidates:

• Proven experience in civil engineering or site management within the renewable energy sector (solar preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction management, site supervision, and quality assurance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
