Location: Birmingham / Hybrid

Salary: circa £50,000 - £58,000 per annum dependent on experience plus

Summary

Navartis have partnered with a rapidly growing rail and civil engineering consultancy who are looking to hire a Development Project Manager in their head office in Birmingham working in projects for clients such as Network Rail, Transport for Greater Manchester, Transport for West Midlands, Train Operators and Government Bodies.

To be suitable for Project Manager Role you will have:

• Expertise having delivered projects on-the-ground to GRIP processes.
• Understanding of railway safety requirements
• Experience in managing procurement processes and contracts for suppliers on behalf of our Clients to NEC contracts or similar.
• Railway experience in a Train Operator Company (TOC) or multi-stakeholder environment. Desirable
• Membership (or working towards) the Association of Project Management membership.
• Degree/HND/HNC level qualified in a relevant discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing project reviews to inform governance decisions
• Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contracts
• Maintaining project records for audit purposes
• Managing surveying and monitoring works
• Promoting innovation, development, and continuous improvement
• Developing, updating, and submitting project programs
• Supporting the development of technical solutions and resource schedules
• Overseeing the execution of projects
• Addressing issues that arise to ensure project continuity
• Collaborating with contract managers
