Job Title: Estimator
Location: Nottingham (some travel required)

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Estimator or QS to join a Commercial Decorating team within a well-established business that provides a range of decorative solutions, insurance reinstatement, and facilities management provisions across a variety of sectors throughout the UK. The position is full-time and permanent.

Role & Responsibilities

• Produce realistic quotes/tenders using client provided information and conducting site visits.
• Manage commercial relationships with clients and ensure all requirements are met.
• Review project contract conditions, highlighting potential risks to the delivery team.
• Monitor project costs to completion, addressing issues as they arise.
• Generate regular financial reports on projects for management.
• Prepare and submit applications for payments and final accounts.

Ideal Candidate

• Substantial experience in a similar role, ideally within the trade.
• Experience in project management and supervising site-based operatives is beneficial.
• Strong commercial awareness with good financial and numeracy skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Proactive and adaptable with a 'Can Do' attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• A reliable individual who leads by example.

Requirements

• Valid Driving Licence.
• Relevant qualification (HNC or equivalent).
• Ability to extract information from drawings.
• Practical knowledge of the industry.
