Job title: CAD Technician (Telecoms)

Type: Permanent

Location: York (2 days in office)

Salary: Dependant on experience

Role:

An opportunity has come available for a CAD Technician to join a specialist telecommunications contractor within the rail environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to step into the rail sector and continue their progression in CAD and telecoms design.

To be considered for this opportunity you will require a good understanding and knowledge of fibre telecoms systems and it is also essential that you have previous work experience using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Produce and provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
• Create high quality detailed 3D and 2D models based on current and new designs.
• Assist with procurement by providing detailed technical drawings and specifications.

Essential Requirements:

• Good knowledge in the use of AutoCAD & 3D modelling
• Telecoms Fibre experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 1-4 years experience
