I am working with one of the UK’s leading privately owned master developers, who is expanding its team with a project manager with a civil engineering or construction background.

The business is growing, and they are currently working on several complex urban regeneration or masterplan developments across the UK, but the southwest and Bristol have a number of key projects.

You will currently be working as a technical coordinator or engineer at one of the leading national plc house builders. You could also be a consultant for a civil engineering consultancy or civil contractor. What is critical is that you have experience of overseeing and delivering complex long term residential projects and have been involved at early conceptual design phase onto construction.

In the role, you will manage the project and several complex engineering packages. You will also appoint and oversee external consultants and be the key point of contact for consortium partners.

You will have a civil engineering background, be degree qualified, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience working on residential-led mixed-use schemes.

You will report to the group projects director, and due to the business's growth, there is a real opportunity to progress quickly to senior project manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing the project from an engineering capacity
• Appointing and managing external consultants
• Writing quarterly project reports to present to the senior leadership team
• Liaising and managing consortium partners to make sure there is alignment on project plans
• Forming part of the sw regional senior team
• Reviewing and assessing new projects

Key experiences;

• Degree-qualified civil engineer
• 5 years + experience in delivering large complex residential-led mixed-used projects in home counties
• You will be working for a plc house builder in a technical co Ordinator or civil engineer, or you could be working for an engineering consultancy or civil construction company
• Experience overseeing 1,000 unit + projects from early conceptual design through to construction delivery
• Used to building and managing large internal and external teams
