Description

Due to an ever increasing work load this specialist sub-contractor, manufacturer and delivery of steelwork are looking for a CAD Technician/ Draughtsman to join them.

This role offers valuable insight into specialist sub-contracting, manufacturing, and the delivery of steelwork across various sectors, including infrastructure, nuclear, rail, buildings, and energy markets. The position is diverse and interesting, forming part of a larger operational team focused on 'one team delivery.' Projects and clients vary, as do the daily tasks and roles required.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our Technical delivery team, ensuring the safe and consistent delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This role will both complement and enhance our existing Project team, which provides steel solutions to a wide range of market sectors and clients. There is also the possibility of hybrid working, depending on the role.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with TEKLA is essential.
• Proven track record in delivering projects within the defence, power, oil & gas, and nuclear environments.
• Preferred experience in fabrication.
• Ability to work effectively in partnership with the Project team.
• Experience working in association with a fabrication shop.
• Competence in assessing project specifications to ensure compliance with end products.
• Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks on time and to specification.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, especially with non-technical staff.
