Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client on a HVDC cable connection project in Scotland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. (CONTRACT)

Benefits

• Rate from £450-600 per day
• 3.5 year contract
• Expenses paid

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports on progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and expectations effectively.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the HV industry.
• Experience working on similar projects
• 10+ years experience
• Knowledge of HV cable connections, installations and terminations
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Computer Illiterate
