Project Manager – Aerospace & Engineering

£50,000 - £55,000

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge in a highly technical and innovative environment? We are currently supporting a leading aerospace research organisation in their search for a talented individual to manage complex engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical specialists, finance, commercial, and procurement, to drive the successful delivery of a portfolio of aerospace and defence projects. You will:

• Lead and coordinate project teams to achieve key business objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Manage project requirements, risk assessments, resource planning, and scheduling.
• Oversee project milestones, stage gates, and change management processes.
• Support bid preparation, contributing to estimating, risk management, and proposal development.

About You:

• Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or technical field.
• Proven experience in managing complex technical projects, ideally within aerospace, engineering, or defence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical information with guidance from experts.
• Commercial awareness and experience dealing with customers is desirable.

• Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
