We’re looking for a customer-focused, hands-on Operations Manager to take the reins of day-to-day operational delivery across security, cleaning, waste, and car park management at Princesshay Shopping Centre. Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining the high standards the centre is known for – and pushing them even higher.

From managing budgets and compliance to leading contractor relationships and contributing to exciting re-development projects (like the revitalisation of the old Debenhams unit), this is a high-impact role with bags of variety and influence.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing cleaning, security, or soft FM services in a busy public-facing environment
• Confidence in incident and H&S management – ideally with NEBOSH or IOSH (or willing to train)
• Calm, balanced leadership style – great in a tackling challenges and even better at building relationships
• Organised and commercially minded – able to manage budgets and drive efficiencies
• Bonus: Shopping centre or retail operations experience
• Whether you're a seasoned Ops Manager or a strong Soft Services Manager ready to step up – we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits package

• Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Life assurance: 3x salary cover insured
• Discretionary bonus scheme: Annual scheme – eligible bonuses payable in December.
• Sick pay: over 1year’s continuous service and less than 5 years continuous service: a maximum of 30 working days
• 5 years continuous service plus : a maximum of 60 working days

(all pro – rated if normal working hours are less than five days per week)
