About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

As an Facilities Manager you will be responsible for driving excellent facilities operations and providing leadership to your team. You will understand the business through MI reports, develop improvement actions, and build customer loyalty through quality, ideas, and engagement. Ensuring compliance with ISO and company standards, you will also maintain strong succession planning and development. This FM position is managing soft services, including cleaning, security, catering and postroom.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive the delivery of exceptional soft services facilities management operations, ensuring all services are performed to the highest standards and meet client expectations
  • Provide effective leadership to your facilities management team, including conducting regular performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, and team meetings to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Analyse management information (MI) reports to gain insights into business performance and develop actionable improvement plans to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency within facilities management
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by consistently delivering high-quality facilities management services, generating innovative ideas, and actively engaging with clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Ensure strict compliance with ISO standards and company policies, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality and safety in facilities management
  • Develop and maintain robust succession planning and staff development programmes to ensure the continuous growth and readiness of your facilities management team for future challenges
  • Manage HR-related tasks, including recruitment, training, and development of facilities staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce
  • Oversee budget planning and financial management for facilities operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient allocation of resources
  • Monitor and control expenses, preparing financial reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure facilities meet the needs of the organisation and support overall business objectives

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Proven experience in finance and budget management, with the ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
  • Extensive management experience in soft facilities management environments, with a comprehensive understanding of building management services
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Office applications, to manage reports, communications, and data analysis
