Description

We are currently recruiting for people to join our team working on a UK-landmark, civil engineering construction project, embedded within a major, national contractor.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

1. Working within the Client Project Team and managing the delivery of plans, designs and consents for civil works to delivery teams.
2. Managing a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with on-site and office-based delivery teams including support services.
3. Complying with client governance and assurance.
4. Identifying and monitoring project risks (threats and opportunities); plan and implement mitigations to them and respond to other issues that affect the project.
5. Implementing and updating resource allocation plans needed for delivery of the project including identification and management of critical resource requirements.
6. Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.
7. Managing project reviews at appropriate points throughout the project lifecycle which will inform governance decisions of projects by providing evaluations of progress, performance, risk, contingency, and continuing relevance.
8. Establishing and implementing, where necessary, protocols to change the scope of projects and updating configuration documents as required.
9. Aiding senior management in developing governance and assurance, and helping the section increase in maturity to meet the project requirements.

This role involves a mixture of working from home and working in the Client’s central London office. Occasional site visits would be required and of course, travel to our RPS social events and team builds!
