London, W1 (Office near Oxford Street)

Full-time | £40,000 - £70,000 per annum

Sector: Workplace Design & Build

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

The Role

Our client is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Pre-Construction / Estimator to join their growing London team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience in estimating or pre-construction within the fit-out or workplace sector, who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in supporting and managing the pre-construction process, working closely with senior estimators, project managers, and the supply chain to deliver accurate and competitive tenders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Producing take-offs from drawings and specifications to support subcontractor tender packs
  • Preparing and creating detailed Bills of Quantities
  • Liaising with the supply chain to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing
  • Analysing subcontractor bids and supplier quotes
  • Working to deadlines to ensure timely completion of tender submissions
  • Supporting the development of cost proposals for clients
  • Taking ownership of smaller projects and assisting on larger tenders (£500k +)


Skills & Experience Required

  • Some experience in estimating or pre-construction within fit-out, workplace, or construction sectors
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX) is beneficial
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage deadlines
  • A keen interest in the workplace design & build sector
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
