£45,000 - £60,000 pro rata | 6–9 Month Contract | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity is now available for an Architect to join a Central London-based team on a 6 to 9-month fixed-term contract. You'll be part of the in-house design team transforming a Grade II Listed property into a luxury guesthouse.

This role focuses heavily on Building Control coordination, construction detailing, and site delivery. Hybrid working is available, with 2–3 days per week in the studio and flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

Your Role

• Coordinate Building Control packages and liaise with contractors, consultants, and Building Control Officers
• Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation (Stages 4–5)
• Lead the transition from tender to construction issue packages
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design and conservation quality
• Collaborate with Design Directors, Senior Architect, Interior Designer, and Architectural Assistant

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 3 years’ UK experience (technical coordination and site delivery)
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Proven experience with listed buildings, conservation projects, or high-end residential/hospitality schemes
• Exceptional detailing skills, particularly with traditional materials
• Ability to manage consultants and independently resolve technical queries
