Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Data Center (Cabling and Migrations)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects within our data centers, with a focus on structured cabling systems and hardware migrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data center environments and a proven track record of successfully managing complex deployment and migration projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end data center projects involving cabling infrastructure, server migrations, and equipment deployments
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
• Oversee the implementation of structured cabling, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications
• Manage hardware migrations with minimal disruption to operations, ensuring data integrity and system availability
• Track project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Liaise with network engineers, facilities teams, and third-party contractors to ensure smooth execution of technical work
• Ensure all documentation, including as-built drawings and test results, is completed and properly archived
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security procedures within the data center

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing technical projects in a data center environment
• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems (fiber and copper), patching standards, and cable management best practices
• Experience with server, storage, and network hardware migrations
• Solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, and Uptime Institute best practices
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar
