Project Manager — Engineering Sector

Based in Falkirk Region | Permanent | Circa £50,000 + Benefits

First Achieve’s Engineering Divison is working in partnership with a leading engineering business to recruit an experienced Project Manager for a critical infrastructure programme. This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale, technically complex projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind key project delivery, responsible for full lifecycle management — from design and manufacturing to site installation and commissioning. Acting as the single point of contact for all project stakeholders, you'll ensure milestones are hit, quality is upheld, and client expectations are exceeded.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering projects in line with Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost targets.
• Plan, lead, and report on all project activities using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Document Control, Quality) to meet objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships across the supply chain and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and internal governance processes.
• Oversee technical elements including rotating equipment (pumps, motors, etc.).

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing engineering projects across full lifecycle.
• Recognised qualification in engineering (minimum HNC required).
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience with rotating equipment highly advantageous.
• Familiar with MS Office and Primavera P6.
• Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification preferred.

Additional Info:

• Based in Falkrik with potential UK and international travel.
• Overtime may be required to meet operational project deadlines.
