Overview

Due to recent growth and our technology, we're growing our control tower team and looking for you to join us as our Facilities Manager. You will take full ownership of our facilities management and Health and safety processes. Working closely with our internal leadership team, contractors and internal Health and Safety managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage external contractors and supplier relationships.
• Manage maintenance schedules, communicate internally and externally.
• Be responsible for the on-site office Health and safety ensuring all processes are being followed.
• Managing any defects/ on site maintenance issues.
• Assist in health and safety campaigns, engaging the team to develop a pro-active safety culture.
• Ensure Contractor and Visitor safety at all times when on site.
• Contractor management including contractor induction, permits to work and works inspection.
• Ensure site facilities are managed in accordance with Health and Safety policy and procedures. This will include but is not limited to ensuring all records of installation, licensing and maintenance are up to date, that practices adhere to any required health
• and safety or legislative requirements, and that records are available for inspection by colleagues and managers on site.
• Be responsible for the H&S Audit.
• To make the best use of Wincanton HSE systems such as `Webrisk` & 'EcoOnline`
• To attend Health & Safety group meetings, whilst encouraging and supporting the safety action teams.
• To conduct regular safety checks and safety tours daily, demonstrating an active commitment to safety.
• To keep the training matrix up to date, notifying people when training is required or amended.

What will you bring to our team?

• Experience of working to and achieving specific targets and deadlines
• IT and facilities management systems literate
• Previous experience in the same or similar role
• Basic administrative skills, data inputting, record keeping.
• Excellent time keeping and time management.
• Ability to take instructions in a professional, keen, and responsive manner from seniors and line managers.
• Excellent attention to detail.
