Wattstor is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our fast-growing European renewable energy business. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of diverse and complex energy projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across our portfolio.

As Project Manager, you will drive the entire project lifecycle—from strategic planning to execution—developing robust workflows and managing contractual, financial, and resource requirements. You will play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Championing a safety-first culture, you’ll ensure both staff and subcontractors operate in alignment with our rigorous quality and safety expectations. You will also collaborate closely with essential supply chain partners to support the development and implementation of Wattstor’s Price Protect offering.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible impact on the clean energy transition, contribute to Wattstor’s success, and help accelerate the decarbonisation of the global energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management: Deliver a portfolio of renewable energy projects, developing detailed execution plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Safety Leadership: Embed a culture where safety is paramount—for staff, contractors, and clients—using proactive systems and standards.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximise value and stay within financial targets.
  • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, set clear priorities, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Resource & Supply Chain Management: Optimise allocation of labour, materials, and third-party vendors. Develop strong EPC and logistics frameworks to support delivery at scale.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Align cross-functional teams (technology, product, supply chain) and manage customer relationships for seamless project execution.
  • Commercial & Risk Oversight: Protect commercial interests, manage risk proactively, and ensure repeatable, scalable success.
  • Quality & Compliance: Uphold the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency through workflow digitisation, standardisation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Establish a culture of rigour with regular project reporting and documentation that supports effective handover to operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Proven track record managing a portfolio of £10M+ across multiple countries.
  • Deep understanding of energy storage technologies, EPC contracting, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in project cost control and forecasting.
  • Effective team leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain partners.
  • High analytical capability with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with programme management tools and digital delivery platforms.
