Project Value: £3M Retail Fit-Out

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Package

Our client, a leading fit-out contractor with a strong reputation in the retail and commercial sectors, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager for a permanent role. You will be working on a high-profile £3M retail fit-out project in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager looking to develop their career with a reputable contractor known for delivering quality projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

As the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the construction and fit-out works on-site, ensuring quality standards and specifications are met.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Overseeing health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Reporting progress and key issues to senior management, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
• Maintaining high levels of communication to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in retail fit-out projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality interiors.
• Strong knowledge of the retail construction industry and its specific requirements.
• Experience working on projects with values ranging from £1M to £5M.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to implement them effectively.
• CSCS Card and SMSTS certification required.
