Project Manager - Business Change and Transformation

Salary up to £60,000

Hybrid - 2/3 days per week in Manchester office

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-impact projects at the heart of an ambitious transformation programme. If you thrive on driving change, can cut through bureaucracy, and are ready to hit the ground running on cross-functional projects, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Take the lead on complex projects from the get-go, starting with a company-wide operating model efficiency initiative. This means mapping processes, uncovering areas for improvement, and collaborating across teams to find efficiencies through process engineering, automation, and (where relevant) offshoring.
• Act as the go-to person for allocated workstreams, managing timelines, risks, and resources with minimal hand-holding.
• Work closely with both senior leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring engagement and robust governance, all while maintaining a pragmatic, business-led approach.
• Manage regular project meetings, maintain detailed project plans and actions, and escalate challenges appropriately.
• Support the rollout of future projects in IT, data, mergers and acquisitions, and more, adapting to evolving priorities as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience leading business change projects at pace, ideally in financial services or highly regulated environments.
• Confidence in navigating agile and hybrid delivery frameworks, with the ability to work effectively alongside scrum masters and technical teams.
• Ability to see the big picture without getting lost in red tape or unnecessary admin. You know what really moves a project forward.
• Commercial acumen, clear communication skills (written and verbal), and a drive to demonstrate tangible outcomes—not just tick boxes.
• Comfortable using MS Office and quick to pick up new SaaS tools.
• Adaptable, relationship-driven, and able to build trust quickly with a wide range of stakeholders.
