Site Manager – Structural Steel

Location: London

Employment Type: Full-time

I’m looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established structural steelwork company based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day site operations
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Monitor progress, manage schedules, and ensure deadlines are met
• Conduct regular site inspections and report on quality and compliance
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager within the structural steel industry
• Strong knowledge of all site operations and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple teams across different sites

Mandatory Certifications:

• SMSTS certificate
• CSCS card (or equivalent)
• Safety at Heights / Harness Certificate
• CPCS card (Slinger/Signaller)
• IPAF MEWP PAL+ Operators Licence
• Competency in use and changing of Abrasive Wheels
• Alloy Towers Certificate
• Full UK Driving Licence
