Project Manager – (Part-Time)

Location: Mainly Remote with occasional site/office visits in London

Contract: 12-Months | 2–3 Days Per Week Rate: 450-550 per day (Outside)

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a track record in leading complex infrastructure or construction programmes? Our client, a prominent London-based transport operator, is embarking on a significant infrastructure development, and we're exclusively supporting them in the search for an exceptional Project Manager to lead the delivery of a brand-new facility!


A rare opportunity to be at the heart of a landmark marine infrastructure project and you’ll be the driving force ensuring the project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget!


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex infrastructure development project.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Maintain clear communication lines and documentation across multiple workstreams.
  • Chair regular meetings and ensure clarity across scheduling, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Report to senior leadership, providing visibility of timelines, risks, and key milestones.


What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure or construction projects (marine or transport sector experience desirable).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders (internal/external) across diverse disciplines.
  • Structured approach to project delivery—methodologies such as PRINCE2 or APM preferred.
  • First-rate planning, organisational, and sequencing skills.
  • A confident, proactive communicator who can thrive in a mostly remote setup.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and associated tools.


Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of marine infrastructure operations.
  • Familiarity with UK-based construction regulations.
  • Previous work within maritime or transport-related organisations.
