Description

Interim Operations Project Manager Opportunity!

An exciting, fast-moving D2C subscription brand is preparing to break into the US market — and they’re looking for a hands-on Senior Project Manager to help make it happen.

With a growing UK customer base and a test launch planned for the US this September, they need someone UK-based with strong operational and project management experience to help bring clarity, structure, and momentum to the expansion plan.

This is an interim role with a lot of opportunity and autonomy — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, low-ego environment and enjoys getting stuck in.

The Role

You'll act as a right hand to the COO but operate independently in order to deliver - your focus will be managing the operational side of the US launch, keeping things on track, making clear plans, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support selection of a US warehouse and fulfilment partner (decision due June)
  • Coordinate US trial launch (targeting September)
  • Oversee artwork delivery, regulatory and legal compliance steps
  • Build and document scalable processes for inventory and fulfilment
  • Negotiate and finalise third-party contracts (logistics, shipping, SLAs)
  • Plan and structure the test phase with a clear roadmap for scaling
  • Liaise with cross-functional UK teams: ops, growth, tech, customer experience, quality, and regulatory
  • Work US hours where needed (with flexibility)

What Success Looks Like

  • A signed partner for US fulfilment and warehousing
  • Inventory and shipping plan between UK and US agreed and documented
  • Contracts in place and SLAs defined with third parties
  • A scalable model for future expansion beyond the initial test phase
  • Timeline, milestones, risks, and reporting all clearly communicated

What You'll Bring

  • Solid operational project management experience (ideally D2C and/or international expansion)
  • Confident navigating warehousing, logistics, and fulfilment conversations
  • Skilled in planning, coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Pragmatic, independent, and solutions-focused – someone who thrives with ownership
  • Comfortable documenting structure, risk registers, and process plans
  • Experience working across US markets or with US third parties

Core Details

  • Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office either in Central London or Hertfordshire
  • Start date: ASAP or within a 4-week notice period (maximum)
  • Interim 6-month contract
  • £550 - 650 per day Outside IR35

If you're ready to help a rapidly growing brand take its first steps into the US, and can hit the ground running with operational confidence and clarity – we’d love to hear from you.
