6-12 month temporary contract for a Project Manager with a multidisciplinary consultancy in Manchester

Your new company
A prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong pipeline of landmark projects, is seeking a Project Manager on an interim basis. They have just secured a new multi-storey residential development project and need a project manager to support the project and programme delivery. The office in Manchester is 50-strong across building surveying, M&E, structures, project management and quantity surveying.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of project delivery, working closely with architects, engineers, cost consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless execution from concept to completion. You’ll manage multiple stakeholders, drive programme performance, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience managing residential construction projectsBackground in consultancy or client-side project managementStrong understanding of RIBA stages, JCT contracts, and UK building regulationsExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsDegree qualified in Construction Management or Building SurveyingChartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) desirable but not essential
