**Product/ Project Manager – Tewkesbury - £50-80,000 per annum + benefits**

Please note: Due to the nature of the work, only sole British nationals who are eligible for DV clearance can be considered. This role is full time onsite in Tewkesbury, with some travel to Guildford and client sites.

We are recruiting for a Product/ Project Manager on behalf on a small technology consultancy, with clients in the Defence & Security space. They develop novel processing algorithms to solve their customers’ problems – proposing new approaches which provide significant additional benefits which have often not been previously considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, managing, tracking and reporting project progress and budgets.
• Liaising with customers in person, via email and MS Teams.
• Providing progress reports to customers through written reports and oral presentations.
• Writing project proposals and processing customer orders.
• Delivering projects in line with ISO 9001/27001 quality and security processes.
• Coordinating multiple products through-life support and logistical support to customers.
• Coordinating support responses for customers with technical problems.
• Working with customers and developers to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Maintaining and reviewing issue logs with customers and developers.
• Maintaining product/project documentation for internal and external use.
• Configuring products with customer configuration data prior to delivery.

Key skills and experience:

• Experience working in the defence or security industry
• Experience of managing, tracking and reporting technical project progress.
• Experience working to ISO 9001/27001 quality and security processes.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Gitlab or OpenProject.
• Experience working in the defence or security industry would be advantageous.
• Software development skills including Python and HTML/JS would be a significant advantage.
• Understanding of hardware development and production processes would be advantageous.
