Description

Elsdon Group are working with a leading European contractor. Who have a strong track record of delivering HV/MV projects and data centres. They are currently looking to add a Civil Engineer to the team in the North West. This role is hybrid, and you will be required to meet customers and contractors on site. This could be anywhere in the UK.

Day to day tasks?

• Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Gather and analyse data for project planning, including environmental impact assessments, soil testing, and site surveys.
• Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and stay updated with industry trends and standards.

Requirements

• Suitable Candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering with 3+ years’ experience working as an Civil Engineer.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working in the power and renewables sector is a bonus
• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Enjoy working as part of a high performing team.
