Job Overview:

Granada Secondary Glazing are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Project Manager/Surveyor to oversee and coordinate the delivery of our secondary glazing projects from initial site survey through to completion. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in surveying with strong project management capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Surveying Duties:

  • Conduct accurate on-site surveys and take precise measurements for secondary glazing installations.
  • Assess existing window structures and site conditions.
  • Identify access requirements, health and safety considerations, and installation constraints.
  • Create detailed survey reports and drawings for use by production and installation teams.
  • Provide expert advice on window styles, materials and installation options based on the survey findings.
  • Identify structural issues, such as damp, rot or subsidence, that may impact the installation process.

Project Management Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage projects from survey through to handover.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Oversee site preparation, installation scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct site inspections during and after installation to ensure workmanship meets standards.
  • Be the face of Granada Glazing, ensuring professionalism at all times, and building great working relationships with Clients.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in surveying and/or project management within the construction or glazing industry.
  • Strong understanding of secondary glazing systems and their applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD or survey software (e.g., AutoCAD, Measure Mobile).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical or construction-related qualification (HNC/HND or similar).
  • CSCS card or equivalent.
  • Experience with heritage or listed buildings (where secondary glazing is often used).


We are open to speaking with candidates throughout the UK, who are happy to travel. Salary is negotiable depending on experience, ideally up to £50k, plus car/allowance.
