About the job

Description

Are you a Project Manager looking to lead meaningful residential refurbishments — without the red tape, slow pace, or corporate barriers?

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed residential investment business with a mission to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient homes at scale. With an expanding national portfolio and a capital program set for growth, they’re building something bold and they need a hands-on Project Manager to help make it happen.

What you’ll be doing as a Project Manager:

As the new Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of small but high-impact residential capex projects — from kitchen and bathroom refurbishments to EPC upgrades, and soon loft conversions and rear extensions.

  • Deliver 10–15 live projects at any one time (typically £40–60k in value)
  • Scope, cost, and manage works from initiation to sign-off
  • Coordinate contractors and ensure standards, timing, and value are met
  • Support the acquisitions team with capex input on new deals

You’ll be the Project Manager who drives delivery from the front — in a lean, collaborative team that values ownership and impact.

What we’re looking for in a Project Manager:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager in residential refurbishment, voids, or capital works
  • Strong delivery mindset — confident managing multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Experience working with housing associations, PRS/BTR, or resi contractors
  • Comfortable with cost planning, value engineering, and contractor performance management
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets — systems are evolving but still hands-on

Benefits available for the Project Manager:

  • London (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
  • £50,000 – £60,000 + excellent benefits
  • Private healthcare
  • Share options
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home)
  • Mileage reimbursement for site travel

This isn’t a box-ticking role. It’s a genuine opportunity to influence and improve how homes are delivered and upgraded across the UK.

You’ll work directly with the Head of Capital Programs, gain full visibility across the business, and shape a model that scales.

If you're a Project Manager who wants more ownership, faster decisions, and a visible impact on the homes you help deliver — this could be your next move.
