Infrastructure Engineer – Northamptonshire

My client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their Civil Engineering team.

You’ll be working on highways, drainage and external works design across a wide range of projects, from new builds to refurbishments, for both public and private sector clients.

The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work within a supportive, flexible environment where you’ll manage your own workload and be encouraged to contribute ideas to help shape the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing roads, drainage and external works including S38, S278 and S104 schemes, and preparing technical specifications
• Liaising with clients, project teams and contractors to ensure successful delivery
• Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practice within the design office
• Managing your own portfolio of projects with strong project management skills

What they’re looking for:

• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to represent the company professionally
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Ground Modelling, Flow and WinDes (Civils 3D, Site 3D, Revit and experience in FRA or Transport Planning would be an advantage)
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Determination to progress your career and support the ongoing development of the company
• An interest in embracing new technologies – they are forward-thinking and actively use BIM in their designs
